Process & Application

Thank you for your interest in adopting from Mikey & Me! Please take a moment to review our application process and requirements below. Adopters must be 21 years or older and have a valid driver’s license with current address to fill out an application.   1. View our adoptable dogs online. If one of our dogs interests you, the first step of our adoption process is to fill out our online Adoption Application. 

  2. Once your application is received, we will begin reviewing your information. This process typically takes 1-3 business days.

  3. We will contact you to review your application, to schedule an appointment to meet the dog you are interested in, or let you know if availability of the dog changes.

All animals have received an initial health check and have been:

  • Spayed/Neutered

  • Current on age-appropriate vaccines

  • Full physical exam

  • Microchipped

  • Dewormed

  • Heart worm tested (adult dogs)

  • Treated with flea & tick preventative

  • Heart worm prevention as appropriate

All dog visits and adoptions are by appointment. Appointments are scheduled by Dan once applications have been reviewed.
